Being from 3 states away in Pennsylvania I didnt know what I was doing at all, where any locations were, or how to go about doing anything.Including the fact that we were doing the wedding within just a four day notice I was delighted he was not only available but helping me with the times, locations, and possibly things that a wedding planner should have been doing to make me as less stressed as I could ever be about the wedding.Rev.Simmons was there on the phone with me navigating me through it all. Tyler and I were married at the Holliday Cottage at Brookgreen Gardens 9/5/10. When we were looking for our officiant, we left our information on a site that would help us find what we were looking for. Reverend Simmons was the first one to respond and after talking to him on the phone, we knew we needed to search no longer. It had turned out that he and Tyler had crossed paths years before at a spiritual retreat. We knew immediately that God had a hand in finding him. He helped make the ceremony exactly how we had wanted it, simple, elegant and very spiritual. When we asked about possibly adding a scottish handfasting, to add a touch of our scottish heritage, he did his research and it turned out absolutely beautiful! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and it was all thanks to Rev. Simmons.

Well the search for a pastor began when my fiance and I decided that we might as well go ahead and just get married while we were at Myrtle Beach. It was only three weeks away that we were headed down to SC from Va and needed to find someone quick. I found Rev. Benjy online and was a little nervous to commit to having him perform our wedding ceremony because I didn't trust the fact that I found him online. After I talked to him I realized he was a genuinely nice man willing to help my fiance and I at the time. He told me about different locations we could have the ceremony and helped us pick one that was close to where we were staying. Rev. Benjy kept in contact with us up until the day of the ceremony. We were married September 25, 2010 at six o'clock at 3rd Ave N Surfside Beach. Our wedding was absolutely perfect in every way. We chose to have the sand ceremony which was really neat and a very special part. We would suggest Rev. Benjy to anyone that is looking for someone that is very kind, down to earth, and willing to help in anyway possible. He also brought his wife that was very sweet as well. I will always remember this day and how wonderful it was.

Rev. Benjy Simmons was wonderful! I had tried to make contact with several officants but no one seemed to return any of my calls. When Rev. Simmons contacted me I knew he would be perfect from the first time we spoke. He was very down to earth, easy to talk to and very helpful. He also stayed in touch to see how our plans were going and to offer his assistance if needed. The day of the wedding he calmed my nerves and made everything go so smooth. Rev. Benji Simmons preformed our simple beach wedding on 10-02-10. He was exactly what we were looking for. I had called several others but they were too expensive and very commercial. My husbamd and I were married on 3/26/11 on the sea side lawn at The Breakers Resort. Rev. Simmons did a great job! My husband and I were married Saturday, April 2nd 2011 on Hilton Head Island, SC. We are from West Virginia. Both Jordan and I grew up in a bible-believing church. When we decided to get married, we didn't ask either of our pastors to be our officiant, trying to keep it neutral. After some research, my mom found Rev. Benjy Simmons. She and I both spoke with him on the phone for a while. I knew that he was the type of officiant that Jordan and I wanted after our first phone conversation. Rev. Benjy continued to stay in contact through phone and email all the way up to the wedding day. He and his wife even made the trip to Hilton Head Island the night before for our rehearsal dinner. He was a huge help! Rev. Benjy Simmons ran through the ceremony a couple of times until everyone was comfortable. I had a wedding coordinator as well, but he really led the ceremony the way I wanted. The day of my wedding was perfect. Rev. Benjy Simmons' words were exactly what we wanted, with plenty of biblical references and scripture. We are still getting compliments on what a wonderful job he did. Not only were Jordan and I very pleased with his services, everyone approved!

Brandon and I decided to get married an hour away from home at the Breakers Resort in Myrtle Beach. Being that it was a bit of a drive and the only person I wanted to do my ceremony (my grandfather) was too ill, I decided to search around and see if I could find someone a little closer to the beach area. The first few people I found were not what I was looking for and I was giving up hope until I found Benjy. From the very first email he was professional but seemed very interested in myself and Brandon as a couple. He is so genuine and offered us his help in any way if need be. We never had a problem getting in touch with him and really enjoyed talking with him before the wedding. It is obvious he has a passion for what he does, to us and to everyone who witnessed our wedding. His ceremony was beautiful and simple, and he let us decide what we wanted in it. Thank you Rev. Debbie and I had planned our wedding to be very simple on the beach. Benjy was very helpful for that to happen. We got married on the beach out side condo where we were staying in Garden city. Benjy had called us the day before our wedding because the weather wasn't looking to promising. To show his concern. Being as we were from out of state he also drove by where we were going to be staying to let us know that it was nice. We also had him preform a sand ceremony. Even though we were bare foot in the sand by the water we couldn't get him to take his shoes off. We decided to get married at the end of May and wanted the ceremony to be during a family vacation less than 3 weeks away. I found Benjy online and his quick response was key for me. When he left me a message, I knew that he was going to marry me. Being from Pittsburgh, PA we weren't sure on what we had to do. Benjy help nagivate me through the paperwork and made suggestions to help with our big day. We were very excited that he was appreciative of our "laid back" atmosphere, we knew we wanted to get married in the sand, in the morning, without shoes. He met us at North Litchfield beach at 9am on June 21 and within the hour, I was a Mrs! Rev. Simmons did a awesome job from the beginning to the end. We had some problems trying to find a hotel near the area and he gave us several names to help us out. We felt comfortable with him and we hadnt even met him yet! He always returned our calls promptly and my husband called alot :) His wife had taken pictures of the ceremony and they all turned out beautiful.

My husband and I renewed on 10 year wedding vows on August 3, 2011, in South Myrtle Beach. We called Rev. Benjy about a week before we were going to Myrtle Beach. Rev. My husband and I were married at the 12th ave location. It was a small ceremony with a handful of friends and our kids. Rev. Simmons was so nice and helpful from day 1. Considering it was such a short notice. I was going with another wedding place in Myrtle but they were $600 dollars more and very rude and I stumbled across Rev. Thanks so much to Rev. Benjy Simmons for all he did to make our wedding day so special. His genuine warmth and interest in our wedding made us feel as if we'd known him for years. I know the beach wedding season is busy, but he was able to do a rehearsal with our bridal party the night before our wedding. I agree that it can be nervewracking to find a minister on-line and so far away from home, but Rev. Simmons is a wonderful choice you won't regret.

Since we were planning our wedding from 400 miles away, the internet was our most valuable tool. I found out about Rev. Simmons by researching wedding officiants in the area and just had a gut feeling that he would be what we were looking for. Rev Benji was, to say the least, very professional, helpful and gracious in assisting us with our wedding preparations, which was done in a very short time. Planning a long-distance wedding can always be a challenge- but the easiest part of the process was when I found Rev. Benjy Simmons. I was trying to research some ministers in the area as we weren't members of any local churches we didn't really know anyone to turn to. I stumbled upon Rev. Benjy online and read his reviews and website. I liked what I saw, and emailed him asking pricing and availability. He was very prompt in answering and very detailed and friendly, and his pricing is extremely reasonable. We spoke on the phone several times and he also sent me examples of different types of ceremonies. Rev. Benjy Simmons married us on April 6, 2012. We were planning a beach ceremony for just the two of us. Due to the chilly 48 degrees, windy and rainy morning, we changed venues to the chapel. Although it was a last minute change, the chapel was very pretty. Rev. Simmons, along with his wife, Renee (who took the pics), were a delight! On April 11, 2012, my husband and I renewed our vows for our 25h wedding anniversay at Myrtle Beach State Park with our 2 children. I found Rev. Simmons on a website. Me and my husband got married on 4/14/2012. It was a double wedding with my sister and her husband. Reverend Simmons was extremely helpful when we had questions about the ceremony.
